Curbing Ragging in Educational Institutions

(Supreme Court Order No.F.1-8/2006 (CPP-II), Dt.16.05.2008)

Antiragging Committee has been formed and function effectively from the year 2000 onwards in each constituent college of this University. The committee comprises of Principal of the concern college as the Head and other faculties of their departments as members (minimum 5) and their Name, Designation and Telephone Number are prominently display in the notice board for the benefit of the students. All the senior students have informed about the ban of ragging in the premises of the college, hostel and mess. They have also been informed about the punishments include dismissal from the institution as prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu.

To date since inception of the college we have had no incidents of ragging.
